Homeland Security IE Flaw

May 1, 2014 By Benjamin Benkert

Homeland Security pointed out a major security flaw in Internet Explorer (IE) and advised everyone not to use IE until an update was released to patch this threat.

*Microsoft has since released a patch through Windows updates.

Windows XP
Although Microsoft has discontinued Updates for Windows XP users; Windows XP users WILL receive this update through Windows Updates. Please check for updates and install the latest patch for IE.

I advise all family, friends and clients to install the latest Windows updates immediately. -Ben

Managed Services Clients

Peak Performance will be rolling out the new patch to all of our Managed Services clients automatically. No action is required on your part (other than to make sure that all machines are turned on).
